Palimpseste was not born of the generative-AI wave. It comes from a firm that was working with neural networks, deep learning and inference engines fifteen years before it.
NMA Conseil practises two crafts that feed each other: strategic consulting and advisory work for organisations, and a long-standing specialisation in information systems and artificial intelligence — neural networks, deep learning, inference engines — since 2006. That technical depth explains the doctrine behind the entire range: AI is an instrument you understand and master, never a service you endure. When our applications let you choose between a model on your own machine, a server on your own network and a public provider, that is not a box ticked on a feature list: it is twenty years of practice speaking.
IIWhy software
Our instruments were born in the field. Writing long, demanding documents, working with confidential material without exposing it, examining documents up close: we have been doing these things for our clients for years, with a standard of method and confidentiality that off-the-shelf tools did not meet. The Palimpseste applications industrialise that standard — the workshop, the airlock, the loupe — so that other professions can benefit: researchers, novelists, journalists, legal and accounting professionals.

- One person, one SIRET number — NMA Conseil, a sole proprietor, identified in the legal notice. No shell company, no anonymous support: you write, we answer.
- A continuity clause — our Terms of Sale (article 6 ter) contractually set out what would happen if the licensing service were to stop for an extended period: your tools do not die with a server.
- A consumer mediator — CM2C, designated in the Terms of Sale, for any dispute we could not resolve directly.
- Proof rather than promises — the Why trust us page contains nothing but verifiable commitments. You will find no invented testimonials there: that section is waiting for real ones.
