Is my data secure?
Palimpseste is 100% local. Your files never leave your computer, and we have no access to them. The license is validated online (without sending your content). The flip side of that sovereignty: regular backup of your projects remains your responsibility — Time Machine, Dropbox, Git or any usual tool.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account page. Access stays active until the end of the current period. After 48 cumulative months (4 years), you keep a perpetual license of the installed version.
Does the student rate require verification?
Yes. Reserved for academic emails (.edu, .ac.*, .univ-*.fr, and recognized domains). Verification is automatic at signup.
What about Palimpseste Pseudo?
These prices are for the editor. Palimpseste Pseudo is a sister app (gateway: send a folder out, bring it back), €39.99 incl. VAT / year (€4.99 / month), PSEUDO-… keys. A Pro key does not unlock Pseudo.
What about VAT?
All listed prices are VAT-inclusive. The VAT applicable to your country is included and shown on your invoice (handled automatically by Stripe Tax).
